Okay so I found this wonderful website/blog titled “A Day In The Life of A PWD (Person With #Disability).” They have the BEST cartoon strips that so cleverly describe real life #challenges people in a #wheelchair encounter on a daily basis. I’m so impressed with these, I just have to share. I’m creating a new category titled “Visual” here on my blog for these. Please consider SHARING to hopefully educate the abled bodied population of the many challenges we less able bodied face and to maybe be a bit more understanding.
A Day in the Life of a PWD –
Frame 1: A woman in a wheelchair is about to board a city bus. DRIVER: Sorry, I can’t take you. The bus is too full, and I don’t have the time.
Frame 2: Same scene, different day/bus. DRIVER: Sorry, I can’t take you. The ramp is not working.
Frame 3: Same scene, different day/bus. DRIVER: *Sigh* Hurry up! I’m on a schedule.
Frame 4: Same scene, different day/bus. DRIVER: Sorry, I can’t take you. I already have a wheelchair and a baby stroller.
Frame 5: Same scene, different day/bus. DRIVER: All right, everyone at the front has to get off for the wheelchair! You can get back on after. The passengers are irritated, and complaining, which embarrasses the woman.
As always, I wish you days filled with WONDER – take a minute to WONDER what it is that made you smile today!

Thank you so much for sharing! This is exactly why I do them. To educate those who are not disabled, and to bring some giggles and validation to those who are disabled.
