So after surgery gone wrong in 2106 left me #paralyzed, I’ve been struggling to get my faith back. Now, I have NEVER, let me NEVER, stopped believing in #God but I just feel lost…but I keep trying to get back, get back to where I was #spiritually before June 2016.
About a year ago, one of my cousin’s shared the #Holy_Bible app with me. Several months ago my cousin also shared the app with my Mom, who reads the Bible everyday. I’ll be honest, I sit down to read this only every once in a while, I’m by no means a regular #Bible reader.
Seems when I’m feeling a bit down or lonely is when I reach for my phone to read my Holy Bible app. Guess what, today was one of those days and for no particular reason so I reached for my phone.
With this app you can search for “plans” based on how you are feeling, i.e. sad, lonely, grieving, etc.), plans based on a situation, i.e. going through divorce, etc. which helps me find Psalms, verses, that are geared toward how I’m feeling. At the end of each “plan” you can speak about/leave a comment about what that particular “plan” did for you or how you felt after reading.
Today I was reading the ” plan” titled Prayers for a Fresh Start which contained Proverbs 16:9NLT, Jeremiah 29:11NLT, Romans 12:1-2NLT & Ephesians 4:1-3NLT and then the “Talk It Over” section for comments. My cousin made the comment that reading today’s chapters made her think of the song Joy in the Morning by Tauren Wells. I have never heard of Tauren Wells so I Googled his song and YES, it spoke to me, to my heart❤️
Then I listened to Famous For (I Believe) and I’m now a fan of Tauren Wells’!
So this blog is so totally unlike me to share religious thoughts, beliefs, etc., yet somehow it just felt right to share, I hope y’all don’t mind this one time. I truly hope you like them and that they speak to your heart as they did mine.
As always, I wish you a journey filled with exploring new people, places and things – take time to learn from and enjoy each new adventure along your way!
Please feel free to “SHARE” this post with your family/friends! And don’t forget, leave your comments below, we love hearing from you!
I am so happy that your faith was strengthened by the words in these songs. God is faithful and He loves us. In the darkest valleys and on the highest mountains, His strength, guidance, comfort and unfailing love is with us. Again, I’m so happy that you were touched by a song. Sometimes it’s just a little nudge that breaks us through.
With love and prayers, Dani
