A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do right, and for me that means SHOPPING!
Seriously though, while I do like shopping, I’ve found that wearing jeans and slacks just aren’t as practical for me, not on a regular basis at least. #Accessibility is not always about ramps for easy/accessible entry. For me, dresses & skirts are my new “go to” attire.
So I’ve been a huge online shopper for years because for me, my patience level is extremely low when it comes to crowds, ignorance & stupidity.
Several years ago while we were at the Craft At Lyndhurst show I discovered Moon Tide dresses and fell in love! First, I’m a big fan of artisans and their talents and I believe stronger in supporting artisans, especially local artisans when possible. Second, Maura is a dream to work with! Remember, when I first discovered Mood Tide I was walking but being a person of short stature, I still needed the shorter length. Maura is always more than willing to help and provide exactly what I want!
Fast forward to life in this #wheelchair and discovering how much easier life is when I’m wearing my Moon Tide dresses (I have about 4). This is when I also realize, hey, I need a variety, I need different styles, I need different colors = I need a new wardrobe!
So I set out searching online for something that catches my eye, I can afford (remembering I’m most likely going to also pay for alterations to have it shortened), and something that fits comfortably.
TADA! I found again not only great dresses that I love, but another great businesses woman willing to go above and beyond to help! Introducing you to #Nicole Crane of Heart & Style with Nicole Crane my go to #LuLaRoe retailer! OMG, I fell in love with the cottony fabric Carly and went a little overboard buying like 6 I think! Between the dresses and alterations I think I spent like close to $500.00 but, Now I’m going to be honest, after I washed the first dress I noticed some pilling. I reached out to #Nicole and without hesitation, she immediately replaced the dress, now that customer service!
