I’ve lived along this beautiful river (Verplanck) my entire life and am so grateful to truly love and appreicate it’s beauty and history.

You may want to order your Souvenir Book ofor Quadricentennial by Mildred (Millie) Sullivan Schlachter, a local, Hudson River Valley region writer, presents, “A River Beckons….” Especially written for the ‘2009 – Quadricentennial Celebration.

There are so many events scheduled that it is sure to be a wonderful tribute and celebration for all who participate. I am excitied(can you tell) and ready to attend as many of these events as possible! But in the event that I do not get to attend and you do, share with me which event you attend-you know, the where, when, how was it kind of stuff.

I really do love living along the river and love the Hudson Valley–I can’t image ever living anywhere else!
